We really enjoyed working on these regular publications as it was a bit of an adrenaline rush to get everything finalised and signed off with the editor before we took over and went to print.
The covers had to be eye catching and visually congruent to their subject.
Full page company spreads we rare so we relished the opportunity to be more creative.
Editorial design and content saw a six column structure with DIN as the main body typeface.
We sourced much of the images used in the journals, something of a strength in our studio.
We made the most of large images but always in combination with the narrative of the article.
Sometimes articles had lots of small images and changing focus, but we handled these very well.
